Boreal Chickadee in the studio

Work is coming along pretty well. Today I have been working on the branch using watercolours. Actual size of the illustration is 17 inches wide by 11.25 inches high.

Enjoyed a nice visit to the Royal Botanical Gardens in Burlington, Ontario today. Beautiful sunny day with just slight wind to deal with. Managed to get a few reference photos for possible use in upcoming botanical watercolours.
